Announcements and Upcoming Dates

We've almost made it to spring!!

Just a few more weeks until we're out of these frigid, snowy months, and the hope of warmer weather and sunshine is just around the corner.

We are so thankful that we were able to continue to study together despite the many challenges that this year has brought. God has once again shown His provision and care through the use of technology that has kept us connected in His Word.

We have some important announcements and upcoming dates that we want to highlight for you:

>>Next year's study, which will begin in September, is the gospel of Matthew.

RE-REGISTRATION will begin for fall on March 10th (Lansing class) and March 11th (Jackson satellite group). Your group leader will be in contact with you to help with this.

If you are not currently registered in our class and would like to register for the fall, please visit our class page. Click on "join," fill out the requested information, and our class administrator will contact you.

>>We especially want to make you aware of the dates for Spring Break. This year we will be off a week earlier than normal for our class.

~SPRING BREAK~

Lansing class: March 31st
Jackson satellite group: April 1st

>>SHARING DAY will be May 12th for the Lansing class and May 13th for the Jackson satellite group.

This is the final day that our class meets for this study.

Jackson Satellite

The Lansing Women's Day class has discussion groups that meet in another city and on another day. This group is an extension of our established class in Lansing (Base Class) and expands our reach to more distant communities that want to study God's Word with us! The group is called a Satellite Discussion Group (SDG). The SDG studies the same lesson as the Base Class and watches a video of the Wednesday Base Class lecture.

Online Groups

BSF Online Groups are available for every study but are different than our local class Zoom groups that became necessary during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our Class ~ will have a few Zoom Groups to start 2021-22 with the hopes of returning those groups to "in-person meeting" as soon as possible.

Online Groups ~ enjoy the exact same study but will always meet online and are not connected to our Lansing Class. Their group membership is world-wide and members have the fantastic option to pick their own day and time that best fits their schedule!

SNOW DAYS

Unless a "NO CLASS" post appears on this page, the Lansing class is meeting as scheduled.

We typically remain open if conditions near the Lansing church allow. Waverly Community Schools are in close proximity to the church~~if they are closed, BSF is closed. However~~ BSF may choose to close even if Waverly Schools are still open.

Many ladies drive a considerable distance to attend Lansing BSF. Therefore, weather conditions may be different where you live. On questionable weather days, PLEASE prayerfully consider your attendance at BSF. If you decide it is not safe for you to attend, please let your Group Leader know and you can watch the lecture on mybsf.org after it is posted.
